The Tour - Annapolis Royal

The County of Annapolis and the Town of Annapolis Royal are proud to welcome the 18th Heartland Tour on July 12. Come join us!
Want to ride your bike?. Choose either a 50 km ride or a 25 km ride ( a more relaxed pace), both travel along the Annapolis River, taking in the sights and heritage of this beautiful area.
If you prefer to walk we are off for 2 km or 5 km options plus a guided walking tour through historic Annapolis Royal.
Afterwards, relax with a picnic lunch (provided), prize draws and musical entertainment alongside our beautiful Annapolis River in down town Annapolis Royal.
It’s all fun, free, and family-friendly.
Farmers’ & Traders’ Market, Annapolis Royal (start & end)
9:00 am - Check-in/registration, jersey and t-shirt pick-up and opening
10:00 am – 50 km Road Ride Scenic valley roads, a few hills on the way back. Download MAP
10:00 am - 25 km Road Ride. you are invited people to enjoy a bike ride from historic Annapolis Royal to Port-Royal National Historic Site – The Habitation (and return). A shorter distance; slower pace. Join us in “celebrating our history and active lifestyles!” Download MAP
10:00 am - Walks (2 km or 5 km)
11:00 am - Guided Interpretive Walk though historic Annapolis Royal with a costumed interpreter.
12:30 pm – Picnic lunch provided, prize draws and musical entertainment at Oquwa’titek Amphitheatre (Annapolis Royal)
