Know Your Risk Factors

Any of the following factors can increase your risk of developing Heart Disease:

  • You Smoke
  • You have Diabetes
  • You consume more than 2-3 alcoholic beverages per day
  • You have less than 30 minutes of Physical Activity each day
  • You have a family history of heart disease
  • You have high blood pressure
  • You have high cholesterol
  • You are overweight
  • Your diet doesn’t comply with Canada’s Food Guide for Healthy Living
